LAHORE: A two-day international workshop on “Collective Action for Knowledge Economy Using Technology (CAKE-TECH)” started at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) here on Monday.
Norway’s Deputy Head of Mission Siv Kaspersen chaired the inaugural session of the workshop. UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, Virtual University Rector Dr Naveed A. Malik, University of Gambia Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Faqir Muhammad Anjum, faculty members, students and national and international participants were also present on the occasion.
Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz spoke about objectives of the workshop. He said the workshop comprised of five technical sessions covering food for all, better health in under privileged communities, good quality education and learning technologies.
