Islamabad: Traffic police has issued a three-day traffic plan for Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The Islamabad Expressway will remain closed for all kinds of traffic for three days on March 19, 21 and 23 due to Pakistan Day parade preparations.
All kinds of heavy traffic will be banned entering Islamabad from 12 midnight to 2:00 pm on March 19 (today), March 21 and March 23. Traffic coming from Lahore will be diverted from T-Chowk, Rawat towards Rawalpindi. During the aforesaid dates, Faizabad section of Islamabad Expressway will be closed for all kinds of traffic from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
