KARACHI: The Karachi Bridge Associates (KBA) will celebrate the Pakistan Day by organising a couple of events, offering handsome cash rewards.
The KBA will be holding the Fintex Pairs Event to be followed by the Hubco Cup Bridge Team championship during the course of the week. Both the events will carry attractive cash prizes.
The Fintex Bridge Pairs contest will be held on March 20 here at the Aslam Bridge Hall, housed in the National Stadium.
The total prize money for this event will be Rs100,000, to be shared between the top six position holders.
After a day’s gap, the Hubco Cup Team Championship will commence on March 22 and it will conclude on the Pakistan Day (March 23). The championship will be played on Swiss Movement basis.
The top teams of the competition will be getting their share in the prize money of Rupees two lacs having been allocated for the two-day event.
It is expected that a very large number of competitive bridge players will be taking part in these twin events being organised by the KBA.
