Uplift schemes approved
LAHORE: The Punjab government Friday approved three development schemes of regional planning and public building sectors at an estimated cost of Rs2.452 billion.
These schemes were approved in the 56th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided by P&D Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
The approved schemes included; Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) Punjab, 2016-17 (Revised PC-II) at a cost of Rs219.885 million, PC-II for Hepatitis Prevalence Survey in the Punjab, 2017 at a cost of Rs130.924 million and Construction of Additional Punjab Assembly Building (Revised) at a cost of Rs2101.280 million.
Planning and Development (P&D) Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of P&D Board, provincial secretaries concerned and P&D Coordination-II Assistant Chief Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal attended the meeting.
