KARACHI: WAPDA were leading the medal tally on the second day of the 23rd National Men’s and 9th National Women’s Karate championships at Gymnasium Hall of Punjab Stadium, Lahore, on Friday.
Samra Ikram (WAPDA, -45kg), Beenish Akbar (WAPDA, -50kg), Razia Talib (Army, -55kg), Sana Kausar (Army, -61kg) and Kulsoom Hazara (WAPDA, -68kg) won gold medals in their respective weight categories.
In men’s contests, Abid Azeem (Balochistan, -55kg), Mohammad Kashif (WAPDA, -60kg) and Naseer Ahmed (WAPDA, -67kg) won gold medals in their respective weights. The competitions will conclude on Saturday (today).
