Four remanded in Ashiana case

LAHORE : An Accountability Court on Saturday granted physical remand of four accused in the Ashiana housing scheme scam to the National Accountability Bureau by March 20.
The court has granted physical custody of the accused including Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Chief Engineer Israr Saeed, Punjab Land Development Company Chief Engineer Col (retd) Arif, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) PLDC Imtiaz Haider and Bilal Qudwani, another PLDC official. The bureau had arrested the accused on Friday night. According to NAB officials, the accused were summoned in a probe into Ashiana Housing scam for statements.
