LAHORE: PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said lawyers have a great roe in the supremacy of the justice system and the provision of justice to the common man.
A delegation of office-bearers headed by newly-elected Lahore High Court Bar President Anwarul Haq Punoo and President District Bar Lahore Muhammad Arshad called on Shujaat Hussain and and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at their residence here today (Saturday).
The lawyers office-bearers said that during the tenure of Pervaiz Elahi as chief minister, ideal steps were taken for their community like free treatment and operation besides their welfare and well-being and the provision of justice to the common man, annually funds to all bar associations without any discrimination and establishment of Prosecution Service.
