Factory guard kills labour leader

TOBA TEK SINGH: A security guard of powerloom factory on Thursday allegedly killed a labour leader at Gojra. Victim Abdul Khaliq was collecting funds for his union from the workers of a powerloom factory at Chak 367/JB. He and the factory officials exchanged harsh words. Later, factory's security guard Tariq allegedly opened fire at him. Abdul Khaliq died on the spot. District Police Officer Usman Akram Gondal has taken notice into the incident and ordered the Gojra Sadr police to arrest the accused forthwith.
