JHANG: Annual sports of Govt College for Women (GCW) Jhang Sadar concluded on Wednesday. Mother of Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz Malik, a retired professor Mrs Rooh Afza, was chief guest. The students participated in 100m and 200m Chati races and other games.
The chief guest during her address, applauded the performance of students and said that such programmes not only provide recreational opportunity but also enhanced their leadership skills. The principal of the college Prof Abida Shahbaz said that: “We are focusing our attention towards education in addition to their training by enhancing co-curriculum activities”.
