Yousaf stuns Asadullah in tennis tourney

KARACHI: Unseeded Yousaf Khalil thrashed seventh seed Asadullah Khan in the main round of men’s singles event in the inaugural Chairman JCSC Open Tennis Championship at PTF Complex in Islamabad on Wednesday.Yousaf was in total command of the match and proved too good for Asadullah, recording a convincing 6-0, 6-1 victory.Meanwhile, top seed Muhammad Abid thrashed unseeded Huzaifa Abdul Rehman by 6-2, 6-0. Heera Ashiq, seeded fourth, overpowered eighth seed M Shoaib by 6-4, 6-3. Third seed Muzammil Murtaza trounced fifth seed Mudassir Murtaza by 6-0; 6-2.
