Man kills three nieces in Hangu
HANGU: A man allegedly shot dead his three nieces in Umarabad Kurmi, an official said on Tuesday.
District Police Officer Asif Gauhar said that one Khan Akbar shot dead his nieces early in the day. The slain girls were identified as Sultana Bibi, 17, Zainab Bibi, 14, and Najma Bibi, 13.
He said that Najma Bibi had accused her father Muhammad Akbar of incest three months back. The incest charge had been proved in the medical test, he added. The official said on the complaint of Najma Bibi, the police had arrested Muhammad Akbar after lodging a case against him under 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Meanwhile, on the complaint of the deceased’s maternal uncle, Arif, police registered the cases against Khan Akbar and his five accomplices. An official said four of the accused had been arrested in a raid.
