PSA to conduct squash surveys in Lahore, Karachi
ISLAMABAD: Professional Squash Association (PSA) has agreed to conduct survey in Lahore and Karachi starting from next week paving the way to allow the two major cities to host leading circuit tournaments in future.
Group Captain Tahir Sultan, secretary Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) confirmed to The News that on the sidelines of survey for PSL final and play offs, Security Risk Co would also conduct survey in Karachi on March 10 and in Lahore on March 12.
The PSF had written as letter to PSA last month requesting to allow the federation to host international events in two major cities. “Jahangir Khan would brief the Agency on the arrangements in Lahore while briefing would also be given at Lahore on the measures to be taken to keep a tight check during the squash event,” Tahir Sultan said. It is expected that in near future Pakistan would be allowed to hold events in Lahore and Karachi, the same way the PSF holding these in Islamabad.
