AAUR, Chinese university ink MoU
Rawalpindi: A delegation from Sichuan Agriculture University (SAU) China visited Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), here on Monday and also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for bilateral collaboration in Research and academic, especially in agriculture discipline.
The PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sarwat N. Mirza and Vice President SAU Prof. Yang Wenyu signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. Deans/Directors from PMAS-AAUR also participated in the ceremony.
Under the MoU, both universities agreed to develop academic cooperation in various fields and decided to initiate collaborative activities in academic areas of mutual interest such as exchange of faculty, students and expertise, conducting collaborative research and research projects as well as sharing of academic information and materials.
On the occasion, PMAS-AAUR vice chancellor gave a detailed presentation on on-going activities and new initiatives of PMAS-Arid Agriculture University. He also highlighted the possible areas of collaboration and future perspectives in research and educational programs.
