Huzaifa stuns Abdaal in Chairman JCSC Open Tennis
KARACHI: Sixth seed Abdaal Haider was stunned by Huzaifa Abdul Rehman, who also won his Men’s doubles tie later in the day pairing with Shoaib Khan, in the 1st Chairman JCSC Open Tennis Championship in Islamabad on Tuesday.
In men’s singles category, top seed Muhammad Abid beat Abbas Khan 6-2, 6-1; Huzaifa beat Abdaal 6-3, 6-2; Heera Ashiq beat Zaid Mujahid 6-2, 6-3; M Shoaib beat Ahmad Asjad Qureshi 6-4, 6-4; Mudassir Murtaza beat Muhammad Mia Bilal 2-6, 6-3, 6-4; Muzammil Murtaza beat Nauman Aftab 6-4; 6-3; Asadullah Khan beat Ahmad Kamil 6-3, 6-2; and Yousaf Khalil beat Shahzad Khan 6-4, 4-3 (retd).
