Young girl gunned down in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A young

girl was killed, another wounded when a gunman opened fire in a birthday

party in an apartment at Park Road Friday late night,

police said.

Young girls and boys gathered in the apartment to celebrate birthday of their friend when a person identified as Nadar entered the room and opened firing, Airport Police Station said.

A girl, Bisma 20, sustained a bullet in her chest and died on the spot, while another girl jumped down from second storey and wounded seriously.

The police have arrested the shooter and registered FIR against him.
