MILAN: Napoli coach Rafael Benitez hinted he could extend his stay at the Serie A club as his side prepare to meet Dinamo Moscow in the last 16 of the Europa League.
The chances of Benitez remaining at the San Paolo look to have increased of late as Napoli maintain their bid for a top three finish that would offer Champions League football next season.
The Spaniard, whose contract expires in June, is keeping fans guessing but said on Wednesday he has not received offers from elsewhere and has no “ambitions in particular”.
On the even of Dinamo’s visit to Napoli for the first leg of their last 16 tie, Benitez told reporters: “In January I said I would make a decision on my future in April, and that is still the case.
“I’m happy here, but I will let everyone know my intentions in April. As things stand today, I haven’t received any offers and I don’t have any ambitions in particular. So my answer is still the same.”
