According to complainant Dilawar Hussain of Elahiabad, police had arrested his son Haider Ali and his two friends Jehanzeb and Dilawar in a theft case some days ago but allegedly implicated them in the murder of a schoolteacher. Later, police took a plea that they were on looting spree at Roshanwali Jhal on Samundri Road when a raiding police party reached there and the accused opened fire on them.
