BAHAWALPUR: Two motorcyclists were killed in an accident near Mohallan Wala Basti on Tuesday.
Shahzad Ahmad and Muhammad Younis were on their way by a bike when a speeding bus hit them on Minchinabad Road. As a result, Younis died on the spot while Shahzad sustained injuries. Later, he was shifted to the DHQ Hospital Bahawalnagar where he succumbed to injuries.
91 UPLIFT SCHEMES: The work has been started on 91 development projects under the MPAs grants in the Bahawalpur Division.
It was told in a meeting which was chaired by Commissioner Saqib Zafar at the Commissioner Office here on Tuesday. The meeting was told that these projects would be completed at a cost of Rs 230 million. The DCOs of Bahawalpur and Rahimyar Khan districts briefed the meeting about the progress of the development schemes in their respective districts.
