KP NAB directed to shift PDA cases to Rawalpindi
PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has given approval to shift all cases of the Peshawar Development Authority to Rawalpindi Region NAB from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa NAB.
The inquiry and investigations of all these cases will be held in Rawalpindi’s NAB Region. The step was taken on a letter issued on February 21 on behalf of MII director of NAB Headquarters in which the NAB chairman has given approval to shift all complaints, inquiries and investigations in connection with the PDA to Rawalpindi NAB immediately.
The KP NAB was ordered to hand over all records of PDA’s cases to Rawalpindi NAB. While Rawalpindi NAB was given orders to take action in all these cases according to the law. The KP NAB record possesses complaints against present and former officers of PDA.
