The accused, Imran, attempted suicide by cutting his jugular vein. He was shifted to the DHQ Hospital. Police have registered a suicide attempt case. PRISONER DIES: An under-trial prisoner died in the Central Jail on Monday. Ijaz, who was an addict, died for want of drugs. The jail authorities have handed over the body to the family for burial.
