Iran team to feature in National Kabaddi

KARACHI: Iran national kabaddi team will also be part of the 40th National Men’s Kabaddi Championship which will be held at the PSB Coaching Centre Lahore from February 28 to March 4, Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) said on Tuesday. Besides Iran, Army, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), WAPDA, Railways, Police, Higher Education Commission (HEC), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), POF Wah, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad will vie for the title. About Iran’s participation in the event PKF said that it would develop the relations between the two countries. “It will also improve the soft image of Pakistan,” the PKF said.
