ISLAMABAD: Abdullah Aftab qualified for the final of Maj Ishaq Shaheed twin cities Tennis Tournament beating Ali Zubair in a marathon match at Siraj Ul Haq Tennis Club, Westridge Rawalpindi.
Abdullah won 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 to earn a place in the final where he would meet Abdullah Shafqat who got better of Nazik Khan 6-2,6-3 in the second semi-final. Abdullah Shafqat also reached the final of boys’ under-18 beating Hassam 6-1, 6-2 in semi-final. In the other semi-final Ali Zubair beat Waleed Qureshi in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
