ISLAMABAD: Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mehmood Achakzai said on Thursday that the National Assembly should thoroughly debate the matter about possible horse-trading in upcoming Upper House polls.
“There should be two-hour debate on this matter here,” he said. Speaking in the Lower House, he said that a trading house like situation was there regarding the Senate elections as the parliamentarians were being purchased.
PTI’s Shafqat Mehmood also raised the issue of expected horse-trading in Senate elections saying the PTI had already taken the stance that direct elections should be held.
