ISLAMABAD: PkMAP chief Mehmood Achakzai said on Thursday that the National Assembly should thoroughly debate the matter about possible horse-trading in Senate polls.
“There should be two-hour debate on this matter here,” he said. Speaking in the Lower House, he said a trading house- like situation was there regarding the Senate elections as the lawmakers were being purchased. PTI’s Shafqat Mehmood also raised the issue, saying the PTI had taken the stance that direct elections should be held.
