LAHORE: Lahore Division Commissioner Abdullah Khan Sumbal has directed to complete all development schemes under Annual Development Programme (ADP) according to the set standards and quality in Lahore division.
Addressing a meeting here Thursday, he said that date approval in a few schemes was a genuine matter but that could be overcome by speedy work. He said that health and education development schemes should be on priority. He put his satisfaction over the 64 percent progress in Lahore District, 75 percent in Kasur, 82 percent in District Sheikhupura and 73 percent progress in District Nankana Sahib under ADP 2017-18.
In Annual Development Programme review meeting under his chair, he reviewed performance of development of all ongoing schemes in Lahore Division. He reviewed the progress of 416 schemes in District Lahore, 146 schemes in District Kasur, 241 schemes in District Sheikhupura and 139 schemes in District Nankana Sahib, in school education, urban development, waters, sanitation, sports and youth affairs, roads, health, higher education, local governments community development sectors. Director Development Lahore Division Ch Amjad briefed the meeting.
