Karachi hockey team trials from today

KARACHI: Trials to select Karachi hockey team for a tour to Lahore will be held from Friday (today) to Sunday at KHA Sports Complex at 3pm.Karachi team will tour Lahore on the invitation by Olympian Tauqir Dar to play a five-match series against Dar Academy.A five-member selection committee has been formed for the trials. World Cup winner Jameel Ahmad will be the chairman. The other members are Samsam Qadir, Gulfaraz Ahmad, Malik Ashraf and Ejazuddin. KHA Secretary Haider Hussain said Karachi team would tour various cities.
