Image worries

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Dr Siraj-ul-Haq has stated that the US is tarnishing the image of Islam. In this era of information explosion and rising awareness, mere propaganda cannot change people’s perception. Actions speak louder than words.
In fact it is terrorists and extremists who are bringing a bad name to our religion. The JI chief has also blamed the government for initiating a check on the activities of madressahs. The JI chief has, however, not made any concrete suggestions to reform madressahs and to counter hate speech.
