KARACHI: The management of Modern Club will organise the 1st Modern Club National Tennis championship from March 21 at its newly refurbished tennis courts.
The event is being organised to pay tribute to the club’s founding members.
The PTF has approved the event to be held under the auspices of Sindh Tennis Association. Players will get Rs300,000 in prize money.
The championship will have events for men, women, juniors 18 and under, 16 and under, 14 and under, and 12 and under, while the doubles events will be for 35 plus, 45 plus, 55 plus categories. The last date for entry is March 18.
All main draw out-station players will get Rs600 daily allowance until elimination, while main draw out-station junior players will be given economy class railway fare as well.
