DISCO problem

This refers to the letter, ‘Wapda explains’ (March 4) by Muhammad Abid, Director Public Relations Division, Wapda, in response to my letter, ‘Wapda discrimination’ (February 28).
Accepting my mistake of directly blaming Wapda and failing to mention the distribution company responsible for power consumers’ woes, I also appreciate Wapda for educating consumers about where to lodge their complaints regarding overbilling and loadshedding. At the same time, I stand by the claims I made in the letter – a fact not contradicted by the Wapda official. The distribution company concerned is requested to resort to minimum loadshedding and remove people’s grievances in this regard.
