KARACHI: Both Mohammad Amir and Noor Alam scored hat-trick and later a brace for Lyari Youth Football Club and Sattar Football Club, respectively, in the South District matches of the sixth round of Leisure Leagues Karachi Youth Initiative Football Tournament at Lyari’s Gabol Park here the other day.
Amir first scored a hat-trick as Lyari Youth defeated Young Baloch FC by 3-0 and then in the second match against the same side, Amir again produced some more fireworks, scoring two goals to give his team 2-0 victory.
Meanwhile, Noor Alam also showed his class and guided Sattar FC to 3-0 and 2-0 victories over Shaheed Raja FC.Mohammad Maaz of Sabir Sports also scored a hat-trick in his team’s 3-0 win against Qadir School. The second tie between the two sides ended in a goalless draw.
The matches were part of the one hundred matches being played at five different venues, Gabol Park, 16-Star Football Ground, Ansar Union Football Stadium, Mohammadi Stadium and Khyber-Muslim Football Stadium.
