Islamabad: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) former president and a prominent trade leader Dr Shahid Rasheed Butt on Friday said import of LNG will provide relief to masses and industry which would be one of the greatest achievement of the incumbent government.
Talking to this correspondent, he said LNG is the fastest and cheapest way to get energy and this is the best time to ink supply contracts, he said.
The business leader said that Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and private sector are rewriting energy history of Pakistan which is highly commendable.
Shahid Rasheed Butt said that one terminal is insufficient to cater for our need therefore government and private sector should immediately start establishing more LNG terminals. He said that floating terminal is the quickest way to get energy but offshore terminals have expansion capacity.
