PIMS paramedics elections

Islamabad: The ‘Pahchan Group’ won elections of the Pakistan Para-Medical Association of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Association (PIMS) on Wednesday. According to the results announced following day-long polling, the ‘Pahchan Group’ (186) led by Muhammad Anas (president) defeated ‘Ittehad Group’ (115) by 71 votes. Rana Ahmad and Saeedullah were elected as Chairman and General Secretary for a tenure of two years. The winning side is the pioneer group in the PIMS para medical workers which also got new service structure for their colleagues which allowed promotion of paramedics up to BPS-16 and above.
