Naqeebullah's killing protested in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: People from various tribal agencies on Tuesday protested outside the Charsadda Press Club to voice anger at the recent killing of Naqeebullah Mahsud in a fake police encounter in Karachi.
Addressing protesters, Manzoor Ahmad and others said Pakhtuns had rendered great sacrifices for the restoration of peace in the country but despite that some elements were conspiring against them.
They said the Pakhtuns had to face displacement and suffered huge human and material losses during militancy and lived as internally displaced persons at camps under tough conditions. They deplored that these sacrifices were not acknowledged. Condemning the killing of Naqeebullah Mahsud, a 27-year-old youth from South Waziristan in a fake encounter, the protesters said they would not rest until the perpetraters were brought to justice.
