Speeding car kills two students

BUREWALA: A speeding car crushed two students to death and injured four others on Chichawatni Road on Wednesday.
Reportedly, six students of Government High School, Chak 409/EB, were on way home after attending the school when a speeding car, coming from Chichawatni, hit them from behind near Chak 417/EB. As a result, Muhammad Mukhtar (11) of Chak 411/EB and Bao Chand of Chak 417/EB died on the spot while Muhammad Yasir (14), Shahzad (6) and Shahroz (8) of Chak 417/EB and Yasir (12) of Chak 411/EB received serious injuries. The injured students were shifted to the THQ hospital from where the doctors referred Yasir to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan, due to his critical cindition. The police have arrested the car driver after impounding his vehicle.
