LAHORE: Showing his passion towards football, Muhammad Waseem, nick named Falcon Khan, current Pro-World Boxing Council Silver Flyweight Champion, the only one to achieve that rank in the history of Pakistan, has announced his support for Classic Football League to be staged in Karachi few weeks after the FIFA World Cup 2018.
Haider Ali Daud Khan, Chairman CFL, expressing his gratitude has said that with a wide international & national fan base, which has an even stronger hold in Layari, the mini Brazil of Pakistan, Waseem is a popular hero of boxing and football following youth.
Earlier, talking to Shahid Khokhar, Director CFL, Waseem appreciated the efforts of CFL management for the event “It’s a great honour to be an ambassador for Classic Football League. I feel privileged to support and promote sports in Pakistan especially football because personally I like and play it. I assure the management of Classic Football League my full support and best wishes are with them” Waseem said.
