CHAIRMAN Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Siddiq-ul-Farooq has said the Board is making foolproof security arrangements for the Yatrees who will visit Pakistan to participate in the 316th Besakhi Mela celebrations to be held in Hassanabdal next month.
Talking to media after holding a consultative meeting with all the stakeholders including officials of security agencies, representatives of concerned DCOs, police and health departments, Siddiq-ul-Farooq said that better arrangements, including accommodation, security and basic facilities for pilgrims, will be made on the upcoming Besakhi Mela. For the better health facilities, services of Hilal-e-Ahmar and Young Doctors Associations have been sought in this regard, he added. According to ETPB chairman, strict security measures, including installments of the CCTV cameras and walkthrough gates, will be takwen on the occasion. He said he was trying hard to portray the image of the country in a positive way.
