LHC orders to stop scrutiny of Multan clubs

LAHORE: Lahore High Court has directed to stop the scrutiny of clubs in Multan and sought reply from the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Deputy election commission PCB Shahzad Farooq Rana had issued a directive for scrutiny of clubs of District Cricket Association Multan from January 9. The PCB has already put an ad hoc on Multan in March-April last year which was followed by clubs’ scrutiny directive. Mohammad Ahsan Nawaz, a resident of Multan, moved court on with a plea that PCB deputy election commission violated PCB constitution by issuing directives of clubs’ scrutiny.Justice Shahid Waheed of LHC Multan Bench directed the PCB for reply on its next hearing. Similarly, LHC halted the scrutiny og clubs in Faisalabad and asked the board’s reply.
