Pakistan aware of Indian intentions: Kh Asif
From Our Correspondent
SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence and Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that a steady increase in the Indian arms stockpile is a clear evidence of its designs to dominate the region and it will affect long term peace in South Asia.
Inaugurating uplift projects at Imam Sahib and Eminabad Link Road here on Sunday, he said that Pakistan was fully aware of the negative Indian intentions and the entire nation along with the defence forces was ready to face India at any time and at any level. He said that the blatant violations of ceasefire accords at the Line of Control and the Sialkot Working Boundary by India during the last six months were also clearly indicating its bad intentions. He said that an immediate end to the violations on the Line of Control and the Sialkot Working Boundary was a must to initiate meaningful and constructive dialogue between both countries. Despite increase in the prices of petroleum products in the international market, the government had not increased the prices to provide some relief to the masses.
