It is positive to know that people have expressed their sorrow over Zainab’s murder. However, I have some reservations with regard to how the media reacted to this horrific incident. A picture of Zainab’s dead body has now gone viral on all social networking sites and apps, including Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp.
People are sharing the image with a heartfelt message. Raising an issue is welcome, but sharing the pictures of a dead body on social media is wrong. We should abstain from posting her pictures on networking sites.
