Two men held for raping 11-year-old boy
Shah Faisal Colony police claimed to have arrested two men on Friday over charges of raping an 11-year-old boy two days ago.
SHO Malik Ishaq said the suspects, identified as Samar and Ali, sexually abused the boy on Wednesday, and their arrests were made after they were identified by the victim. He said the men, both neighbours of the boy, were taking him away from his home again for rape on Thursday, but a resident noticed them and raised a hue and cry.
Police reached the area and talked to the boy, who told them that he was raped by Samar and Ali, and they were taking him away again to abuse him. The SHO said the boy’s father was not ready to register a case, but police convinced him to lodge an FIR and arrested the suspects from their houses.
Shah Faisal Division SP Azam Jamali said the victim and the suspects were sent to hospital for medical examinations. Sindh Inspector General of Police AD Khowaja appreciated the Shah Faisal Colony police for arresting the suspects.
