LAHORE: Gujranwala Board team won the All-Pakistan Inter-Board Badminton Championship by beating Lahore Board 2-0 in the final. Organised by Sindh Technical Board Education, the event was played in NED University of engineering and Technology. In the Singles Gujranwala’s Junaid beat BISE Lahore board’s Tayyab by 21-19, 18-21 and 21-17. In the doubles Gujranwala Board’s Husnain/Junaid defeated Lahore board’s Sahil and Kalam by 21-15 and 21-19. Peshawar got third position after beating Mardan. Chairman Sindh Technical board of Education Dr Masroor Ahmad Shaikh was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony. Mahfoozul Haq, Vice President Sindh Olympic Association, was also present on the occasion.
