LAHORE: Punjab University, on Wednesday, awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars. They included Mahnaz Yousaf in the subject of Applied Psychology after approval of her thesis entitled “Psychological Correlates of Distress, Self Care and Quality of Life in Type I and Type II Diabetes”, Arifa Mehreen in the subject of Zoology after approval of her thesis entitled “In-Vitro and In-Vivo Evaluation of Traditional Herbs for the Control of Staphylococcus Aureus, A Causative Agent of Sore Throat”, Asif Raheem in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics after approval of his thesis entitled “Plant Growth Promoting Potential of Rhizobacteria Under Abiotic Stress”, Umme Salma in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of her thesis entitled “Famous Muslim Ethic Scholars An Analytical Study of Their Thoughts” and Muhammad Suleman in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled “Hanafi Methodology of Hadith Evaluation – A Critical Study”.
results: Punjab University Examinations Department has declared the results of MA Archaeology Part-I annual examination 2017, MA Philosophy Part-I annual examination 2017, MSc Mathematics Part-I annual examination 2017, MSc Chemistry Part-I annual examination 2017, MSc Applied Psychology Part-I annual examination 2017 and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) 1st & 3rd Professional annual examinations, 2017. BA/BSc registration: Punjab University has issued schedule for registration of private students for BA/BSc Part-I annual examination 2018, for those students who have passed compartment in one/two paper only in intermediate supplementary examination, 2017.
According to a press release issued Wednesday, such students can apply for online registration and have to submit private registration form along with original bank challan for fee Rs3,230/- deposit fee in any HBL/ other bank branch notified for such proposal and other required documents up to 25 January, 2018. Online registration form is available at Punjab University website.
