KARACHI: Renowned business leader Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig has congratulated Haroon Akhtar Khan on his appointment as the federal minister for revenue; this step reflected confidence of the federal government and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leadership on Haroon Akhtar’s abilities.
Dr Baig acknowledged the outstanding performance of Haroon Akhtar. He hoped that the minister would help in finalising a comprehensive revenue policy, broadening tax net and many other relevant aspects.Dr Baig has also drawn the attention of the minister towards a scheme for declaration of foreign assets of Pakistanis. The business community leader assured that he would fully support the federal minister in achieving his goals.
