The strong reaction of the Pakistani people against Donald Trump’s tweet is just and the need of the hour. No one can deny the country’s contributions towards the war on terror. Trump’s inconsiderate remarks have sparked anger among the people. This new US administration is blaming Pakistan for its own failure in Afghanistan. The ‘do more’ slogan will not resolve the matters. Instead, it will disrupt the relations between the two states.

We have given our soldiers, our people and put our security at stake in order to help the US fight against terrorism. We all know Donald Trump tends to create a fuss with his tweets. But this time, his threats have caused irreparable damages. The US should understand Pakistan’s importance in the region and respect its dignity.
