LAHORE: SNGPL women team reached the final after beating 2nd seed National Bank of Pakistan team in the ongoing 55th National Badminton Championships on Saturday.
In the second semifinal, Pakistan Wapda also reached the final beating Islamabad team on day two of the championship.
In the first semifinal of the women team event, SNGPL fought back after losing first two matches against NBP. And in the decisive match, Javeria Tahir (SNGPL) beat Sara Mohmand (NBP) in three-game match.
In the men’s team event, Wapda and National Bank qualified for the finals after beating SNGPL and HEC respectively.
