SATTUKATLA police has failed to find any clue to the murderers of a security supervisor who was shot dead in his house in the Sattukatla Police limits on Thursday.
Police have registered a case against unknown accused persons. Investigation Officer, SI Nawaz said they were working on the case and would soon find out the accused persons and the motive behind murder. He said family of the deceased person had stated that they had no enmity with anyone. Circumstantial evidences suggested that it was not a murder on resistance, he added.
Nassar Hayat, Security Supervisor of Punjab Government Employees Society, was shot dead by some unknown accused persons Thursday night when he was asleep at his house in Phase-II of the society.
THREE FOUND DEAD: Three unidentified men were found dead in different parts of the metropolis on Friday.
Police have removed bodies to morgue for autopsy. Some passersby informed the police about a 60-year-old man lying unconscious near Tarannum Chowk in the Tibbi City Police limits, a 40-year-old man was found unconscious near Ganga Ram Chowk in the Civil Lines police limits and a 50-year-old man in the Bhatti Gate police limits.
Police shifted them to nearby hospitals where they died. Police said they looked like drug-addicts and might have died due to excessive use of drugs. However, autopsy would help ascertain the cause of their death.
