Cops manhandled, warrant papers torn

CHAKWAL: Two accused brothers Thursday manhandled two police constables of Dhuman police and tore into pieces warrant papers issued by a judicial magistrate in village Dandot in the area of Choa Saidan Shah police station.
Constables Adnan Yusuf and Nobahar went to village Dandot with warrants for the arrest of accused Shoukat Ali and his brother Wajid Ali.
The accused manhandled the cops and tore the warrants into pieces. A case has been registered against the accused.
FAKE CHEQUE CASE: Police registered a case against an accused for issuing a fake cheque.
Shabbier Hussain, of Lahore, had taken Rs 3 lakh loan from Jawaid Metha Khan, of Mohallah line park, Chakwal.
When Shabbier was asked to return the amount, he gave a cheque that was bounced when it was taken to bank.
