PESHAWAR: Appreciating the efforts of district administration, Mardan, for installing the e-government practically, Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan on Wednesday instructed the deputy commissioner to fully concentrate upon the project to be the most updated and complete in all aspects so that the same would be replicated for implementation in all other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This effort would reflect the development of 21st century in society and will be the real revolution at the government level while it would also prove that the government machinery was really taking steps to create a welfare state practically, he added.
This, he said, during a briefing about the installation of e-government system in Mardan district presented by Mardan Deputy Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheikh at the CS office in Peshawar.
It was told that the district administration, Mardan, has started installation of touch screens at different public places.
These are facilitating the general public about all the government official records, answered to public queries about their issues related to government offices/departments and information about the public cases in different courts and their complaints in different government offices also.
The touch screens dashboards would be installed outside the deputy commissioner office and other government offices, shopping malls, courts and different public places of the city.
