A TOTAL of 10 plots, including five residential ones, were auctioned by the Lahore Development Authority against a sum of Rs 53.9 million on Thursday.
Officials said five residential plots of Venus Housing Scheme, Ferozepur Road, were auctioned against Rs 40.74 million. Three commercial plots of Sabazazar Scheme were sold at Rs 7.35 million while two plots of Model Town Extension Scheme were auctioned at Rs. 5.87 million during the proceedings.
An open auction was held at the LDA Community Centre, New Muslim Town. A total of 26 bidders participated in the bidding by depositing earnest money for their desired plots. Tough competition was observed on the occasion as competitors enthusiastically offered their bids.
Seminar: A seminar and awareness session on dengue virus and pest management was held at the Allama lqbal International Airport. The session was conducted by Waseem Saleem, Joint Director, Logistics, at the CAA Auditorium Lahore in collaboration with the Friends Environmental Solution Lahore. Rashid Muhammad Hussain, Airport Manager, Allama lqbal International Airport, emphasised the importance of dengue/pest free environment at the airport.
