DASKA: Two dacoity incidents were reported here on Wednesday. Mubashar and his wife were on their way home by a bike when three dacoits intercepted them and snatched cash, gold ornaments and cell phones from them. Kalsoom Bibi was on her way to Ranjhi village from Daska when two dacoits intercepted her and looted cash, gold ornaments and a cell phone from her.
3 GAMBLERS HELD: Motra police on Wednesday arrested three gamblers.
On a tip-off, the police raided a den at Adamkey Cheema and arrested Akmal, Shahzad and Sufyan. However, their two accomplices fled.
MAN BOOKED: City police on Wednesday booked a man for sheltering two proclaimed offenders.
On a tip-off, the police raided the house of Rizwan to arrest POs Imran and Faisal but accused Rizwan helped them to escape.
